Ms. Takako Ito is a Japanese patent attorney with extensive experience in telecommunications, computer software, and electronics. Prior to entering the intellectual property profession, she worked as an engineer at Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT), where she acquired strong technical expertise.
Ms. Ito began her intellectual property career in 2003 at Yuasa and Hara Law & Patent Office, one of Japan’s leading patent firms, and joined Jeekai & Partners in 2006. She later transferred to Shangcheng & Partners, where she has been a Partner since 2016.
Currently, Ms. Ito’s practice focuses on patent and trademark prosecution, as well as intellectual property litigation matters. She is an active member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA).
