Profile

Sophia (Yiqun) Peng is a patent attorney and senior engineer. She has over six years of patent practice. Ms. Peng graduated from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, with M.S. and B.S. degrees in Mechanics and Material Sciences. She was also trained in Chinese patent law at BUAA. Before joining Jeekai (now Shangcheng) in 1998, Ms. Peng was a senior research scientist in the Beijing Nonferrous Metal Research Institute, served also as a mentor for graduate students and a patent attorney for the institute. She focuses her practice on Chinese patent prosecution, administrative procedures, and litigation matters. She is a member of All China Patent Attorneys Association(ACPAA).
