Profile

Mr. Chun Long is a patent and trademark attorney. He received his M.S. in pharmacy from Kyoritsu Pharmaceutical University in Japan, B.S. in pharmacy from Zhejiang Medical University, and certificate of laws from China University of Political Science and Laws. Mr. Long started his intellectual property practice in 1984, serving as the director of the Patent Agency of China Drug Administration (now State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA)). After working with a Japanese patent law firm for more than five years, he came back to China in 1998 and became one of the co-founders and the senior partners of Jeekai & Partners. In 2008, he established Shangcheng & Partners, a full scope service IP firm with a staff of 100 professionals. Mr. Long has extensive experience in various intellectual property matters, including litigation, administrative enforcement of intellectual property rights, licensing, and prosecution matters. He is vice president of the All China Patent Attorneys Association (ACPAA) and a board member of the China Intellectual Property Society (CIPS), and is a member of FICPI and AIPPI.
